Privacy policy

Last updated 19 May 2026.

imPlural is designed to minimize data collection. Most app data is stored locally on your device, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

This policy explains what information may be stored, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Information Stored on Your Device

imPlural stores app data locally in your browser using technologies such as localStorage and IndexedDB.

This may include:
  • system data (such as members, folders, and custom fields)
  • application settings and preferences
  • theme, font, and interface preferences
  • cached or offline app data
This locally stored data is not automatically sent to us and is not accessible to us through normal use of the app. Clearing your browser's site data will remove locally stored imPlural data from your device.

Where available, the app may also provide tools to:
  • export your data
  • delete app data
  • reset your account or profile
If you export your data manually, you are responsible for keeping exported files secure.

Information We Do Not Use

We do not:
  • run advertising trackers
  • use third-party analytics services
  • build behavioral advertising profiles
  • sell personal information
We aim to keep data collection as limited as possible.

Server Logs and Technical Data

Our servers may temporarily process limited technical information necessary to operate and protect the service. This may include:
  • IP addresses
  • request metadata
  • error logs
  • security and anti-abuse information
These logs are used only for:
  • maintaining service functionality
  • detecting spam, abuse, or unauthorized access attempts
  • debugging and security purposes
Server logs are retained for no longer than 30 days unless a longer retention period is required for security or legal reasons. Servers are hosted within the European Union.

Accounts and Optional Features

Some features of imPlural may involve optional accounts, profiles, or subscriptions.

If you choose to use optional paid features through external services such as Ko-fi or Stripe, payment information is processed by those providers according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
  • access information about your data
  • request correction or deletion
  • object to certain processing
  • export your data where technically possible
Because most imPlural data is stored locally on your device, you can generally manage, export, or delete it directly within the app or through your browser settings.

If you contact us regarding privacy concerns or data requests, we will do our best to assist you.

Children's Privacy

imPlural is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it where applicable.

Parents or guardians may also remove locally stored app data directly from the device or browser.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make significant changes to how personal information is collected or used, we will update this policy before those changes take effect.

The updated version will always be available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
